A little over a month ago we got word of a HUGE update for Age Of Empires II HD Edition: The Warchiefs and the Rise of the Rajas. Fans and players alike were ecstatic, and rightfully so! With this update, gamers everywhere who have never played AoE II HD before are now able to enjoy all the DLC's for free with no hassle. And it's not just the DLC's that have been updated, but also the campaign for all of the campaigns.A lot of work has gone into updating all of the campaigns, and they are now what you've all come to expect from AoE 2 HD. The graphics are updated to look more like HD than ever before, and more content/characters/campaigns were added for 16 players on each team.Not only that, but also Ubisoft has updated some maps as well. With the HD, The Conquerors campaign was reworked to look better in HD, and also several new maps have been added.The Rise of the Rajas update is good news for all AoE fans, but no one knew just how good this news would be until today. Not only will gamers be able to play all 16 campaigns free, but they will also receive the Rajas & Conquerors campaign update FREE as well! This means all the campaigns are being updated to include ALL DLC's for free. That means you can now play any campaign in AoE 2 HD Edition with your friends or clan members without worrying if they have purchased any of the DLC's. Now if you're new to AoE 2 HD Edition or never played it before, then I'm sure you're wondering what the big deal is about the DLC's. There are 6 expansions for AoE II HD Edition, which are The Forgotten, The African Kingdoms, The Asian Dynasties, The WarChiefs, The Warchiefs and finally the Rise of the Rajas.All of these expansions can be bought individually over Steam or Uplay for $4.99 USD each. Or if you want them all at once you can get them in a bundle for $24. 99 USD. But the good news is, on March 28th through March 31st, Ubisoft will be offering all of these DLC's as a part of two complete bundles for FREE. Fans and gamers alike will be able to get these expansions as a single purchase for no charge at all! This means all the DLC's will be free to play on launch day! I'm sure many of you have been wanting this to happen since AoE 2 was released, but it wasn't until now that we were able to get them all at once for free.
